Lindsay Catherine Harris (she/they) is a media artist, social justice advocate, and educator. As Teen Programs Manager at Brooklyn Museum, and a mixed black queer women, she is committed to increasing meaningful civic engagement through the arts, challenging inequity, and amplifying youth voice—specifically femme, queer, and trans youth of color—in cultural programming in Brooklyn. She has worked in art and social justice programs at schools and organizations across NYC. She was a Flaherty Film Seminar Fellow, Laundromat Project Create Change Fellow, Black Public Media Digital Media Fellow, and NYU Critical Collaborations Fellow. In addition to working directly with our amazing LGBTQ+ teen staff, Lindsay is currently one of five members of a curatorial team for an exhibition inspired by the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising, opening at Brooklyn Museum in Spring 2019. She has a BA in Africana Studies and Art from Vassar College and MA in Arts Politics from Tisch NYU.
