Teen, Seattle Art Museum
Maya Santos, 16, is a Junior at Highline High School/Highline College. She’s been involved with the Seattle Art Museum since her Freshman year of high school, after joining the Teen Art Group, which aims to bridge the gap between the institution and the youth population through an event (Teen Night Out) that brings together live music, tours, and art activities to further connect teens to the Seattle art scene. Outside of TAG, Maya is a dedicated running start student and painting artist. She hopes to utilize the skills she’s learning in school and at the SAM in a future career in the arts someday.
